Partner Sites

The Children's Nursing Development Unit is dedicated to creating partnerships with other countries in the sub-Saharan region. This is done with one of the two following goals in mind:

1. To establish new in-country child health nursing training capacity

As part of global and regional strategies to build human resources for health-care, a growing number of African nations are prioritising stronger paediatric nurse training as a primary strategy to reduce the under-five mortality rate. We are committed to working with partners in these countries to build a sustainable children’s nursing workforce for Africa, in Africa.

 2. To assist with review of operational and workforce development needs

We work with organisations, teams and facilities to help them develop solutions to the issues they need to address. Our development team use highly visual facilitation techniques to make the process of providing child health care visible and guide teams towards sustainable improvements.
